The people that wait for the perfect moment to chime in and give their opinion yet you have no idea who they are?!
Last night Dia and I were sitting in Barnes and Noble talking about the future and trying to conquer piles and piles of homework....when all of a sudden this random middle aged gentleman next to us starts moving in on our conversation.
Now of course in the beginning I was pleasant and listened to what he had to say and smiled and nodded sweetly & eventually moved on to finish my conversation with Dia.
That apparently was not enough for this man he felt the need to speak up about every topic that we brought up... you can imagine how old this became...really fast.
Really now wasn't once even twice butting in enough??!
Apparently not.
I wanted to tell him to mind his own business; at the same time he was so passionate about giving his opinion on random things I couldn't help but just giggle and let him finish.
Ironically he was an English major too and yes he went on for 20minutes about informing how amazing an English major is.
Ooh yes and how he is in love with the "English Language"
He was full of opinions....a little intrusive....but overall he was a harmless soul that just wanted to grace us with his voice.
It's amazing who you will encounter in a bookstore.
If you hadn't already guessed we didn't get much homework done...all thanks to our little acquaintance.
