love day!

in honor of valentines day i rocked my red toms. i was pretty excited! i ate a lot of chocolate too, did you?! it was fabulous. okay so i love valentines day. i can't help it. i know half of the world hates it because they think it's commercial and everyday should be love day yada yada yada. did you check out fb on the 14th? Ohh my, one extreme status update after another. thank heavens for the few post i read that were embracing the loveee.  okay, i get that it stinks sometimes for some people but there is something special about february 14th watching the sweet gestures, seeing the excessive amounts of red and pinks. it makes my heart all warm inside. my dad sends flowers to my grams every single valentines day, he never misses a year. and every year when she calls to thank him she gets choked up at how thankful she is because she never expects them. it's the sweetest thing in the world to me. my dad is a gem, he really is. but see that's what love day is about just showing love. this year i didn't have a specific significant other. but i had lots of loved ones to kiss and hug and make sweet cards for. i just love lovin' on people and yes, i agree every day of the year should be like love day. but there is something sweet and special about february 14th and you know it. <3
