a weekend went wrong...saved by a car ride full of tunes

A little glimpse at our attempt of making a bad day into a good one <3

this weekend didn't turn out how the girls and i hoped it would. in all honestly it was a bit of a disaster.i could go on and on about all of the ridiculous circumstances we endured but that would take forever and it would also mean i would  have to relive saturday in full detail and well as of now i'd rather not do so. saturday could of been wonderful, it had all of the potential to be wonderful. yet whenever things were looking up, something would bring it right back down...and cause it to be disastrous. the car ride was full of energy and excitement. all we wanted was one day, just one... to escape the heat, heading up north sounded like the best idea in the world, yeah by the end of the day we vowed to never go up north again...unless it was during the months of nov-feb. at least then there would be snow, and who doesn't love the snow? but during the summer time its not worth the three and half hour car drive through the mountains without cell service. our only saving grace was our infamous duets. screaming to evanescence, taking turns singing britney's greatest hits, and tearing up with the one and only faith hill! Oooh and how could i forget our solo renditions of jewel's poetic track "fat boy." we were better off staying in the car, our biggest mistake was getting out. by the end of the day we were three exhausted, hungry, needing showers really bad gals just wanting to be air lifted home. but despite our "lousy of a day" i wouldn't of wanted to spend it with anyone other than these two. we made memories saturday...at the time one's we wished were better than the one's we were making, but none the less memories. and that's all that truly matters right?!...

i hate when things go sour, but luckily good tunes and great friends can usually help turn a sucky situation into a nice memory!

Everything turns out all right when you're with your favorite people.
