being apart of something bigger...

have you ever just wanted to be apart of something that was bigger than yourself? do something that mattered, something where you could help others in a significant way?
this july i have that opportunity, i will be journeying to Kenya for 10 days to help build a rescue center for some well deserving children! My church started a project two years ago called Project Belwop, in these last two years we have partnered with each other and others around the country to raise funds to build this rescue center and a few months back we reached our goal. we raised close to $18,000 these funds went towards all of the supplies and equipment it takes to build a rescue center. This center will not only provide a home for these children but it will be a place where they can be safe, be educated, be fed. a place they call their own. the passion that i have for this project is indescribable Helping others is something that is apart of me, seeing lives changed is incredibly important to me. Now, we are fortunate enough to travel to Kenya and be apart of this building project! Thats where all of YOU come in! Individually each person who travels to Kenya must raise $4,000 i know at first it sounds like a lot but i know its doable. So i'm asking all of you for your support because my blogger family is just as important as the rest of the people who are in my life. i'm not writing this to bombard you with asking for donations, but any donation is welcomed. but what i am asking for is prayer. the bold type of prayer. that you would all pray with me that this dream to be apart of something bigger could be possible. if prayer is something you don't do thats okay, good vibes sent my way would be just as great too. if you do feel passionate about donating then know that every donation will get me one step closer to Africa so that i can help build a home for these kids, a place where they can call their own. These are the incredible kids you will be helping Project Belwop are they not the cutest ever!!
